Philosophy & Background
Philosophy
The objective to Dr. Waldman’s approach is to guide people to explore and reveal their core mythology. Dr. Waldman refers to core mythology as the beliefs, stories and rules we construct as we encounter the challenges of life. Aspects of our belief systems hold us hostage from exploring our fullest potential. As consciousness is liberated toward greater understanding and broader perspective, the authentic expression of our life essence is able to unfold.
Background
From early childhood Dr. Waldman has explored methods of transcending
obstacles through consciousness. As an avid athlete she broke track records in her career as a long distance runner. Her track records still stand. In training to become an Olympic contender herself she used guided imagery. After her pre-med education Dr. Waldman became a sports massage therapist and built a nationwide chain of twenty sports massage clinics. During her years of work with professional and Olympic athletes she utilized guided meditation, yoga and nutrition to create an edge for her clients. She decided to attend Naturopathic Medical School to further assist individuals with health. Her interests have always guided her back to the importance of consciousness as the single most determining factor behind a person’s physical experience. Within her own healing journey, the “true healing” seemed elusive when she sought an answer outside herself or equated a solution with finding the right remedy, supplement, diet or procedure.Dr. Waldman combines Mind-Body therapies, Natural Medicine, Acupuncture, Equine-related experience, her patent pending Wave Theatre Design, Guided Imagery and Meditation into her multi-dimensional approach. Many patients have found her approach effective and empowering in resolving allergies, autoimmune illnesses, stress-related illnesses, migraines, acute and chronic illness management in addition to anxiety, depression, pain management and performance enhancement.
